Trends In New Orleans Commercial Property

This issue examines the strength of the national and local economy and trends in commercial property prices in the New Orleans MSA for the latest 12 months.

The national economy measured by GDP grew 3.7% for the first three months of 2011 compared to the previous quarter, meaning growth is positive but stagnant-much like how a car accelerates from a stop light and reaches the speed limit-you are still moving forward, but not at an increasing speed. In math, this is known as having a derivative of zero.
